About project

“Greenmap” is a resource which accumulates information about important environmental objects: waste and second-hand goods drop-offpoints; organizations engaged in environmental protection; renewable power generation units; unique natural areas like parks, public gardens, nature sanctuaries, etc.

We hope that this resource will help you to go greener. For example, now you are definitely going to find the nearest waste drop-off spots, although we believe that it is better to change one’s habits and create less waste: use rechargeable accumulators or reusable water bottles, for instance. It is a way more eco-friendly and essential than recycling non-reusable goods!

On the map there are renewable power generation units marked: solar panel sand collectors, wind generators and others. Now everybody has an opportunity to see how they work.

Thanks to the “Green map” you can visit green spaces, many of which are unique, as well as drop by environmental organizations and ask for them even more information on the environment.

Who Are We?

The project “Green map” has been developing owing to the volunteers who check the data, verify information, reply to users’ inquires. We are always happy to meet new supporters. There is always a lot to do and the results are noticeable: the up-to-date map is extremely useful for those who try to pursue an eco-friendly lifestyle!
